Trekking in Spring Season (March, April, May)

Spring season is undoubtedly the best time for the Everest Cho-La Pass Trekking. It is the peak season for trekking and peak climbing in Nepal and attracts thousands of trekkers worldwide. The weather during this season is dry and stable, making it ideal for trekking. The temperature is pleasant, with clear skies and minimal rainfall.

During the spring season, the landscape of the Everest region comes alive with colorful wildflowers and lush greenery. You will also get to witness some of the most breathtaking views of the Himalayan range. The trail is less challenging this season, with less snow, making it easier to trek.

The only downside of trekking in the spring season is the crowds. As it is the peak season, the trekking routes are busy, and accommodation can be difficult to find. You must book your accommodations and permits well to avoid inconvenience.

Trekking in Autumn Season (September, October, November, and Early December)

Autumn is the second most popular season for the Everest Cho-La Pass Trekking. This season's weather has moderate temperatures, clear skies, and minimal rainfall. The temperature is pleasant, making it ideal for trekking. The landscape is also stunning, with colorful forests and vibrant vegetation. You will see the lush green landscape everywhere.

Autumn is also the peak season for trekking in Nepal, and the Everest region is no exception. The trails can be busy, and you must book your accommodations and permits well in advance. However, the crowds are not as bad as in the spring season, and you can still enjoy a relatively peaceful trek.

Trekking in Winter Season (Late December, January, and February)

Trekking in the winter is not a suitable time for Everest Cho-La Pass Trek because of the low temperature. The temperature during this season can drop to below freezing, and the trails can be covered with snow and ice. The visibility can also be poor, making it difficult to witness the stunning views of the Himalayas, so we are not recommended  for 

Most of the lodges and tea houses are closed on the trekking routes.

The trails are less busy, and you can enjoy a more trek in different ways.  If you want to dare to face the challenge, be prepared for the cold conditions and carry appropriate gear and equipment.

Trekking in Summer (Rainy) Season (June, July, August)

Summer is the monsoon season in Nepal, and the Everest Cho-La Pass Trek is not recommended during this time. Heavy rainfall can cause landslides, making the trail slippery and dangerous. The visibility is also poor, and you may not be able to witness the stunning views of the Himalayas.

Even so, if you plan to trek in the rainy season, be well prepared and arrange appropriate clothes and equipment.
